Sandhamns own little archipelago museum, known as Australia, adjacent to the landmarked Customs House. The museum was founded by a few enthusiasts in Sandhamn as long ago as 1966.

The little red house with bell tower outside is an old washhouse from the first part of the 1800 century. Here will find lots of interesting artifacts about life on the island over the past centuries. Often a fairly hard life on a barren island, furthest out at sea.

The museum is open daily during the summer.
